While it is awhile away, we wanted to mention that the Sierra Raven Clan in conjunction with
Medicine Fire Seminars will be traveling to various festivals to offer Firewalking clinics.

BlackWolf (aka Ravenclaw) has been firewalking for over a decade and has taught firewalking, glasswalking, and a handful of other physical paradeims to demonstrate a conscious examination
of the human potential to rise about perceived limitations that are often distilled into our
subconcious since childhood. Even though he taught privately, he will be a Certified Firewalking Instructor come 2009 which is when he will begin offering Firewalks to the public.

Firewalking has been done in just about all cultures since before recorded history, and has even
been done by early Christians (e.g. Constantine and Helen, etc.) who practiced firewalking in
Spain and Bulgaria. There are several references to firewalking in the Bible, as well: Proverbs 6:28:
'Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned'; and Isaiah 43:2: 'When thou walkest
through the fire, thou shalt not be burned'. It is also of interest to note that Romans who could
walk on fire were exempt from taxes.

Firewalking has been practiced by Native American tribes in North America, Celts in Britain,
Vikings in Scandinavia, Romans in Italy, Buddhists in Tibet and Japan, South American tribes
in Argentina and by many other cultures in Australia, Brazil, Burma, China, Egypt, Fiji, Haiti,
India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka,
Thailand, Trinidad and South Africa to name but a few. Vikings were known to walk on red hot
chains, and Hawaiians are known to walk on lava to this day.

Prayer and Firewalking are two of the oldest known practices. Please plan on joining us for an
